I think the "little things" tell just as much as the big ones. I know of persons who don't like to touch, feel, express---however, if something BIG happened, they'd be there without a worry. I think you need combination of both.

I make his coffee just the way he likes it and put it on his nightstand to wake up to it.
Occasionally he will do the odd chore around the house with out me asking him to do it first.
He quit smoking.. not just for me alone... but it makes our kisses so much more exciting!!!
He tells me I am beautiful without makeup on.

LOL @ nvr! I don't have a significant other unless you count me. I treat myself to yoga in the morning - I have full length windows opening on to a communcal garden area which is very peaceful to look out on while I do my stretches.
