Wigger (alternatively spelled wigga, whigger or whigga) is a slang term for a white person who emulates mannerisms, slangs and fashions stereotypically associated with urbanAfrican Americans; especially in relation to hip hop culture. [1]
The term is a portmanteau combining the words white and nigger, and it has been used in a derogatory manner. The term wigger is generally used to describe a young, white mimicker of certain affectations of hip hop and thug culture. The word is considered offensive by some because of its similarity to nigger in addition to reflecting stereotypical notions about urban blacks.
The phenomenon of white people adopting stereotypical black mannerisms, slang, and apparel has appeared in several generations since slavery was abolished in the western world. An early form of this was the white negro in the jazz and swing music scenes of the 1920s and 1930s; as examined in the Norman Mailer essay, "The White Negro: Superficial Reflections on the Hipster"." It was later seen in the Zoot suiter of the 1930s and 1940s; the hipster of the 1940s; the beatnik and rock and roller of the 1950s; and the mod of the 1960s.

I don't think the problem here is white kids trying to "be black".
I think its people who are upper middle class surburbians trying to "be black". I used to go to school with a black kid who was just as urban as can be. I had to go to his house one night to work on an assignment, and low and behold, when I pulled up, it was a half million dollar house!
One thing to look at too is how this whole "Urban" movement is being marketed. It demands that clothes be "fresh to death" and that "whips" "be fly". The truth is, these upper middle class kids can afford that.
I love the black culture. I have a whole entire leg tattooed with graffitti. I listen to rap music incessantly, and a good deal of my friends and neighbors are black.
But that doesn't mean I have to sound like an idiot when I speak, or dress like one for that matter.
Just my 2 cents, but you'll have to forgive me, Whitey is on my back, oppressin' me and whatnot, so I gots to git back to gettin' money.

Most JW kids lead a double life and the 'just got to be cool at all cost" is their alter-ego it's one thing to a natural Fonz of the "happy days" TV show.Theses kids are cloned fakes,anyone one doesn't squeeze into their mold is trashed as a geek.It's this way in the Kingdum Hell and the world too, here in the USA we are lagging behind in technical expertise because schoolboys don't want to be subjected to hazing as science geeks.
