Yes this was great...except when the wt conductor then thought he had licence to then take as much time as he wanted, like we all paid for two hours and thats what we are gonna get!!!

Or [and I did this once] a suckey elder quickly volunteers to drag out an outline and give a talk off the cuff!!

When my kids were sick so that I got to stay home. Hubby always had to go since he was the (drunk) elder who always pretended to be sober.

for some reason my parents or parent and stepdad always felt it necessary to exclaim in wonder when an elder gave a talk with just an outline - "cccccleeeeeeeeeeee (insert spray of saliva) did ya see that karl? the wonderful blessings of Jehovah God" (Cleeeeee is just a random noise my stepdad makes"

I think that my favorite moment of being a JDub was when I faked being sick for a sunday morning meeting and conquered Castlevania on my Nintendo Entertainment System knowing the whole time that my mother, sister, and brother were stuck at the KH. Oh the memories!

So I guess I would have to say that I miss pretending to be sick to stay home from meetings. I love a challenge.

Our youth WT studies-after the WT study when we had a very innocent and fun little party afterwards and played 'murder' (nice game for a bunch of JW, huh??:) )

The half frozen vanilla pudding at the conventions.

I never had a meeting cancelled for weather reasons (though my mom did recently!). Never failed to have a speaker show up. I did look forward to my mom deciding to leave the meeting early and we would just miss the first few minutes of "Happy Days" and get to watch "Laverne and Shirley"

There were no BJs in my JW life.I was just a kid. . .is that allowed???
