I understand from Bible.ca website that Weigall(?),who they quote to prove the trinity is false, also says that docrines that Christ is an angel have a pagan origin also!

So WT has been preaching a doctrine of pagan origin all along.

In fact, most of Christianity is based on Pagan worship. The whole idea of a son of God that came to earth and died for our sins had been played out by the Pagans many, many times before the supposed birth of Jesus.

Jesus as the "Son" was a reinvention of the Sun deity utilized in an attempt to consolidate the varied beliefs existant in the far-flung Roman empire. IMHO. Let me know if I'm full of it. I know you will! LOL!

I completely agree - authors such as Acharya S, Jordan Maxwell etc concur.

What this website says is that they use this person(quote ffrom him) in the Trinity brochure, but the same person trashes all christian doctrines as having a pagan origin.

That doesn't surprise me. Take a look at the spoof brochure, 'Should you believe....should you believe in the trinity?'

It was incredibly inventive and imaginative of Constantine and his fellow rulers of the Roman Empire to think of making this incredible compromise and attempting to unite all parts of their far flung empire by virtually throwing all the beliefs, pagan and christian into one huge pot, giving them a good stir and coming up with the early Roman Catholic Church.

What is amazing now, is that people in the 21st century know so little history that they do not understand that a virgin birth is not possible and that resurrection is also not possible. So they continue to accept Constantine's ideas. It is much like people insisting that the earth is still flat despite all the evidence that is put in front of them. Early Roman Catholicism had its place in keeping control of the uncontrolable, but why must people still cling superstiously to those past essentials of keeping order, and refuse to accept that this was simply an amalgamation of ideas to keep a lot of people happy!

Hi Gill, and this is exactly why Jesus fed the people with the two fish - representing Pisces, the Christian church has dominated the world for the past 2000 years - the astrological age of Pisces. But what next? The Bible tells us:

"And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into

the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher

of water; follow him into the house where he enters in." - Luke 22:10
