Having viewed all of SeattleNiceGuy's "Hopeful Atheist" YouTube videos, I now see that an atheist does not necessarily deny the existence of God. He merely believes there is not enough evidence to conclude that God exists. Should that evidence be discovered, he would be willing to so believe. This, I suppose, describes me. I've been calling myself (as I once heard M. James Penton identify himself) as a God-believing Agnostic.

I tend to believe that some type of "god" exists, though I'm not opposed to the nature/cosmos definition--nor the "zero point field" phenomenon I'm reading about. But...I don't know. I'm okay with admitting I don't know. I don't believe any other person really knows either. And, in any case, I will never again be guilted into believing in someone else's concept of "god."

God? If you're real, if you care and if you're listening, thank you sincerely for my life. If there's anything you want of me, do let me know. I remain open-minded.

Wow Confession! That's been my "prayer" for a while now! Thanks for sharing that. It's beautiful. Truly!

Tetra, I thought that would be right up your alley bro. Especially as describe yourself as pantheist.

We can ponder the wonders of the Universe, aided by cosmic herbs and what-not when I get out there to see ya man. LOL!

I completely agree - it is an immense relief to stop living life for an unpredictable, violent misogynist and just live for an unpredictable, harmless misanthropist - me!

I completely agree with this as well.

I found believing in god, and trying so hard to please him, but always falling short a source of misery rather than happiness. Life is so much more fulfilling now that I no longer have that burden to bear.

I agree as well. I am an Atheist and I carry it very far. If someone is ill or has passed away, I will tell people I can't pray for them because I am Atheist, but I do keep them in my thought's.

I believe in a higher power just not real sure anymore what purpose there is.

The Bible is so paradoxical on one hand God is Love on the other he is vengeful

Human nature sane ones that is are loveing to their children keeping them safe and from harm. How can someone paint a heavenly father as cruel and vindictive. I believe there is something more no one really knows. just my own opinion.
