    Manjana,

Hopefully this link will work and take you to the thread about the new info on the magazine arrangement:

Is Raymond Franz open for correspondence- either written or email? I'd love to converse with him.

Try your local library... so JWs keep libraries on their magazine route and leave them in the magazine section. Also laundry-mats, doctors offices and hospital waiting rooms.

Yes, I believe the May 1sts were intentionally held back. I had made a promise to deliver them as soon as I got them to a member on this board, but I really had the May 15ths before the firsts. I asked an elder about this on memorial night; his response was quite telling: "No one's gotten theirs yet. Well, it's not that they're not here, I just haven't gotten mine yet."

The first school & service meeting after memorial, it was explained to everyone that the May 1sts got "lost" and now they are ready for everyone.

That sneaky GB...knowing there might be a premature spike in the number of partakers, they held off the flash of troof till the r&f had already rejected Jesus.

im very sad. every jw i talked to about this QFR says "i can find no real change there" or those who know my slightly critical attitude get angry when i ask them whether they read it already (weired... its no apostate literature, its just the latest spiritual food! lol). its working again. we reinvent the truth and noone notices and his happy about the "better explanation". all other presumptions about that topic came just from the inability of the average witness. the society knew it best since all eternity and only printed a better explanation now. lol.

When the 1914 generation was laid to rest in 1995, JWs tended to fall into 3 categories, 1) didn't see what had changed or couldn't understand it; 2) were expecting some kind of change (small number) 3) still don't know that anything has changed and will still talk about the 1914 generation seeing the end.

I see the same thing happening here

There was a 4th category Blondie - those who looked at it and were totally pissed off and left - and I know quite a few in that category

Ok, ok, what am I missing? Besides the watchtower moving to a public/private split month, what is the date concern going on? I will keep looking for the thread that I must have missed, but if someone could nutshell it for me....

    Thanks...
