I brought up this subject several times to different ones in the congregation. The response I got was just about the same for each person.
With a glazed look on their face they said, "That shows we living at the very end of the final part of the last days?"

I don't have a May1st WT and I want one, so I will go down to a KH around 9:20am next week, walk in and ask for one- hey, somebody will be anxious to get a placement AND start counting time. After I have it in my hands I can then announce to all of them-
"well, it has been 20 years since I walked out of the KH over this issue and I finally have the proof that I was right all along about the anointed being sealed in 1935. Want to hear more?"

i was at sisters yesterday and asked to see it..
it is very matter of fact stating that evidence in 1935 seemed to indicate that the number of 144000 annointed ones was filled by then...and that any new partakers since were replacing those that had been unfaithful in some way...but that those that had been unfaithful were a very very small number compared to new partakers so evidently the number wasnt filled in 1935..and no-one can say when or if it is closed now.
to any jw this seems like a genuine humble 'we are not going to be adamant about this -wait on jah' approach.
interesting that this is a question from readers - how many readers have asked this over the years and been df-ed for questioning it.
i asked my sis and b.i.l if they had read it...my sis said something about it had been mentioned already (which probably means my ma noticed it and asked them if they had read it)
she then said that the thought had changed from the annointed still being called to it having been filled by 1935 thus getting it completely the wrong way round which kinda backs up blondies point that most jws dont know what the present thinking is on just about anything so they barely register any change.
my b.i.l. just asked if i felt i had recieved a heavenly calling lol.

About 1935, I'm not surprised, in fact, you could have almost expected that to happen since they had to appoint younger and younger guys as members of GB over the years. Heck, you gotta explain that away in terms that don't involve your own deception. Maybe some of future one have not even been born yet, lol.
