It's Hortensia's fault. We are now turning on our friends. We are going mad I say, MAD. Lets get her!
I will join in later, right now I have to go to bed. Many teeth await me tomorrow.

Be very thankful that no-one started on mispronunciations.
That would be World War IV.

OK everyone, let's all go back to our seats and calm down. I'm going to bed before I cause any more trouble.

I daresay that if we have a down on all those who spell incorrectly or use bad grammar 99% of posters here would have to exit, including myself. We're all at different levels of education and intelligence. I'm just glad that people come here and feel they can post freely! It's an absolute relief for many who have suffered at the hands of Watchtower, so let's not be finding fault.

I agree with Ian 200%. If new posters feel that they are going to be slaughtered for their grammar and spelling it might put them off. As long as I can understand the gist of what's being said, that's enough for me.

Am I alone in this or are the rest of you bothered by this kind of thing?
If that kind of thing bothered me I would have to get the rafter out of my eye so I could see the splinter in your eye.
Maybe you should become an English teacher and pursue your passion.

On the topic of spelling:
Has anyone here read Will Self's "The book of Dave?" If so, how many pages did you trawl through before the spelling appeared to document a recognisable language (dialect aside)?
Further, what did you think of the book in its entirety? Enquiring minds want to know!
