"Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews chapter eleven, to the condition of human perfection." (Millions Now Living Will Never Die, pp. 89,90)

"The year 1925 is a date definitely and clearly marked in the Scriptures, even more clearly than that of 1914." (The Watchtower, 7-15-24, p. 211)

"Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not so state." (The Watchtower, 8-1-26, p. 232)

I do not have the book "life everlasting in the freedom of the sons of God" in English, and it is no longer on the WTL, but page 44 §22 is a must have (i'll try to get if from the library) it is where it says that Jehovah gave the possibility to Adam to chose a partner from the lower creatures.

But the dog-rabies-vaccine imposition is the latest.... Rabies! When it has been shown conclusively that there is no such thing as rabies

*** w52 11/15 p. 703 Questions from Readers *** Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God’s law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship. However, God’s law requires us to recognize their being disfellowshiped from his congregation, and this despite the fact that the law of the land in which we live requires us under some natural obligation to live with and have dealings with such apostates under the same roof.

    My absolute favourite:

"Sometimes a member of a class will refuse to engage in canvassing for the books because there are some mistakes in the books. As everyone knows, there are mistakes in the Bible." (WT 4/15/1928, p.126).

If I ever went on a convention anti-Witness demo (which I never will), I would want a banner with that quote on it.

As a rule, for a Christian to go to a worldly psychiatrist is an admission of defeat, it amounts to 'going down to Egypt for help.' —Isaiah 31:1.

Often when a Witness of Jehovah goes to a psychiatrist, the psychiatrist will try to persuade him that his troubles are caused by his religion, entirely overlooking the fact that the Christian witnesses of Jehovah are the best-oriented, happiest and most contented group of people on the face of the earth. They have the least need for psychiatrists.

UPDATE: I managed to include words of "wisdom" at the end of my posts in that sports forum, they were regarding vaccinations, transplant = canibalism, masturbation 'causes homosexuality', The Pleiades as home of Jeehover, Rape victim is/is not a fornicator, the Great Pyramid's dimensions, failed Armageddon prediction dates and many other jewels passed on to me here, including Carl Sagan's remarks on the Watchtower. Of course I included due references for each quote.

The moderator banned one of them: 'masturbation induces to homosexual behavior'. He thought I made it up!!!!! I told him in a PM that I was very happy that he found some JW quotes outrageous and sent him the link to QUOTES. I doubt he had interest in verifying them but he is not moderating my posts and all and all heavy-duty quotes have been released (posted) today.

The JW member posting his JW stuff got the message and stopped preaching.

    QUOTES lives on! :

    *** Watchtower November 1 1938 p. 324 ***

There is no reasonable or scriptural injunction to bring children into the world before Armageddon, where we are now.

    *** FACE THE FACTS pp. 46, 49-50 ***

Would it be Scripturally proper for them to now marry and begin to rear children? No, is the answer, which is supported by the Scriptures. […]
