Yes, I think so. Look at all of the newspaper articles, radio & tv interviews, and court cases that have happened on child molestation and blood.

1995 was very bad. I heard it from many at work. The blood thing has occurred for years. Nothing new, just twisted scriptures.
More doctrine changes will be very bad. The faithful will start to question their foundation if this continues.

Bad news recently- blood issue causes some of Canadian sextuplets trouble, government takes them away.

I think that the internet is undermining their percieved power. They can't keep secrets anymore. Now days, anyone can go online and download the Shepherd book (only for elders eyes) or just read it online. Anyone can go online and read or download the official Branch Manual. And, would anyone have been able to find out about the UN / NGO scandal without the internet?
Another thing that the internet is doing is making Raymond Franz's books more popular than ever before. His books are constantly being discussed and quoted from online. Many newer JWs who came into the organization after 1980 had never even heard of Ray Franz. I think the borg is very aware of this phenomenon. I believe that is why this Summer's district conventions are going to highlight talks such as "Do Not Follow False Stories".
The Watchtower's little fiefdom is not as impregnable as they thought. Their years of secrecy and totalitarian control over Witnesses is coming back to bite them in the rear end.

Yes, it was an article in many newspapers. Guys at work said the end of the world has been delayed after the NP article. 1914 generation was the foundation for being alert (these people are xx years old, they can't go on forever......). Now it is gone with an open end.
Franz blew the doors off of secrets. Some things in his books are hapening now.

This has been occuring for MANY years. Some stories are more sensationalized than others. This became more acceptable when the fear of AIDS in blood banks was prevelant in the late 80's.
