thE pbs MODERATOR jen. was deleting many very good posts from x jw's. all she wanted was good feedback for the film. I haven't even seen the film and know what it's all about. it's a one sided FLUFF piece. She was doing nothing more than trying to protect the makers of KNOCKING. and their grant from PBS. That's right I called her out on her favoritetism . and askED to get a PBS NEW CREW with a few xjw's , to go to wt bethel, and ask some real questions. and see how fast J.R. BROWN and his flunkies throw out the PBS new crew . and refuses to talk or answer any question from x jw's. i think it was a fair question. since PBS is surposed to be neutral . i'm glad I pissed PBS OFF. HOW ever the wt got this movie funded and put on PBS . they had to lie (theocraptic warfare) . i want everybody here to know THESE PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR PBS GET PAID. they don't work for free. their $$$$$ come from foundations , qov't, and public donations. the wt used such to fund their propaganda piece. you guys here should get a list of all the foundations that support PBS AND COMPLAIN. i'm sure next to none of them are crazy about jw's. john

Jen removed many good posts, Rebel had some removed that were excellent. What Jen does not understand it that exjw's and non jw's need to voice what is not in the film. I think that is what she had a hard time understanding. She said she knew little about the jw's so I'm sure all the ex's stories and complaints about the org did look hateful to her not realizing how dreadful the org really is. Please repost after the air date. I don' t think it is airing in my town, I wrote PBS and got an email back saying they had no plans to air it, we will see though.

You are so right on target about this John. I just sent an email yesterday to a Rabbi that the film maker used as a positive endorsement for the Knocking movie. I want to know what he was thinking when he wrote that - and clue him in as to what the WT Org is really about.

Maybe we could get a letter writing campaign together to get another documentary done about the ex-witness expirience. It could be called Shunned or something like that. It could bring up all the doctrine changes over the years and so forth, but really if it just focuses on the human aspect of it. Say the reason they were disfellowshipped, get some elders to comment on camera about it, then it could have the whole big scene where an ex-witness tries to talk to his own family and they walk away from them. It could be a really powerful documentary. I'm sure everyone here would like to participate.

Ditto! As were most of the posts made by others. The claim that the discussions were off topic is nonsense and makes one wonder what the real reason was. 80
