I have never heard anybody use this term. But, I have read the term "cracker" in books as referring to poor southern whites but I have never heard anybody actually say it. I have also heard the term "white trash" once or twice used to describe poor, vulgar whites behind their back.
If somebody called me a "cracker" thinking they were insulting me, I would only laugh at the person saying this because of their pathetic attempt at what they think is an insult. They are not accomplishing anything. This word has no power over me.

It all depends on who is saying it and in what context. If a black person said this to another black person I think it would probably be meant in a derogatory way as in "Uncle Tom".
Since I have a feeling this was meant to be tounge in cheek question I will say if you act white in a snow storm, no one will notice.
