Independent Lens Knocking Forum Locked...

    Since launch, the lively debates seen here have been largely related to the Jehovah's Witnesses faith as a whole, with minimal posting and participation about the film KNOCKING.

    The goal of the KNOCKING discussion forum, as listed in the Standards of Use, is to "discuss your responses to the film and Web site with us and with each other."

    As a result, this forum will be inactive until the film's premiere on Independent Lens on May 22, 2007. At that time, we will welcome viewers to share their reactions and thoughts about the film.

    This weekend, I read the threads that were locked. You guys did a fantastic job exposing the
    shortcomings of the film and their website. The Knocking producers have tried to normalize the
    JW's and didn't realize there was such a large anti-JW movement out there.

    GOOD JOB SAYING THE TRUTH. GO BACK THERE WHEN THEY REOPEN.

    Actually they were stunned in disbelief. I don't believe anyone of them had a clue who JW's are or how strong the opposition is.

    What forum does this appear in? I checked Independent Lens at PBS and didn't find any such statement. Do you have a URL where this statement appears?

    Yes I too would be interested in what you are talking about, I don't think I have heard of that forum or anything else. Would appreciate knowing what it all about .

    orangefatcat has insomnia tonight so if my question makes no sense that is the reason why.

    Your all a bunch of Trouble Makers!!..LOL!!.....I just got back from that site..You Guys Rocked the House!!.....The funny parts are when you would catch the Pro JW`s in thier own lies.....JW`s are not disfellowshipped for taking Blood Transfusions..???..Most adult JW`s come from other religions..???..What a crock of sh*t!.....So,Johnny Cip..Are they going to get you into Bethel??..LOL!!.....No wonder they shut that site down..You guys gave that poor lady a nervous breakdown!..She`s probably in her office,with smeared make-up,hair all a mess,sitting on top of her desk,playing patty-cake..LOL!!...OUTLAW

    Well, if the WTS weren't so severe about disfellowshipping dissenters, there wouldn't be such a lively X-JW community, would there? Free speech goes both ways.

    Against my better judgment I ordered the DVD. It will be interesting to view it. It also has about 3 additional hours of commentary and extras.
