The other thing that freaked me out was that he doesn't have a belly button. I noticed it because he had his jeans pulled down like a rapper. Anyway, I asked him about it and he said something about not being born of woman. Ya, okaaaay, way to trick me into thinking it's not a birth defect. How lame.
So, like, the guy wouldn't let me eat his wine and crackers, so I thought he prolly won't let me eat dinner either. So, I was like, haaay omniscient dude, can we order take out? So we ordered Chinese and I offered to split the cost with him. Jehula said over and over, "I don't want any money, but if you want to discreetly stick some folded up dollahs in the box in the corner, that would be kewl." He was like, "Nah, I don't collect cash, but if you WANT to gimme some, ok."
Jehovah or Michael Bolton the bigger chick magnet? It's a toss-up
Then he said, "I'm not just omniscient. I'm omnipotent too."
And I was like, "That's ok, I'm sure it happens to all guys, but there's no need to talk about your erectile dysfunction on a first date."
Insightful answer MQ. It makes you wonder what you'd really be if you didn't have to continually put on some sort of "disguise" for the benefit of others' perception or even for one's perception of oneself.
A good question, poppers. Personally, I don't wear makeup anymore. I still own it and if I had to make a family portrait or something, I might put some on. I decided years ago that makeup is a lie - to myself and to everyone else; and that if people can't accept me as I am, that's their problem, not mine. My problem always was and probably always will be accepting myself as I am and not judging all the imperfections. Like I said, if I were to have pictures made, I would put on make-up. But make-up doesn't make me feel like a whole person; it makes me feel like a lie. And that's what it is - a lie.
Must be....he gets my mother hot 5 times a week.
I agree, I thought the same, to many going to jw meetings god seems like ultimate masculine, father figure. Usually and often replacement for a father or a true husband they never had.
And in all the congregations I was in - my experiences with "divided households": 99 times out of a 100 it was the wife who was the JW and who had the opposing husband, Quite rare to be the other way around.
More proof that the big J had the goods to attract the chicks!
