Financial statements represent cost less accumulated depreciation. Thus, these statements do not address market value. This is a significant issue considering most of their holdings are in real estate. Much of which has been purchased many decades ago. There has been a significant appreciation in these values, which are not reflected using generally accepted accouting principles.
In addition, it is very difficult to take a look at a single financial statement and relate it to the many related parties. That being said, the watchtower is very rich. Not as rich as the catholic church or the Mormons, but their equity is such that they can survive almost any assult.
So, we hope to wait for the society to run out of money, we will be waiting for a long long time.

Might even reach 2 billion when totaling all their properties owned by the WTS. around the world.
They have been cashing in as well with many of the branches being sold.

What ever it is, it is more than most or all of us here on this poor man's posting network. So the take away is that the watchtower is going to be around much longer that any of us posting on this thread.

They dont have debts and loans.. nowhere on this earth. Besides cash reserves and investment assets they do have many branch offices, printeries and big assembly halls in almost every country plus 100,000 Kingdom Halls.
If only Brooklyn is worth more than 1 Billion U$ the combined total of all the real estate in the world on top of that is much higher than 1 Billion.

In reading these posts, it sounds like a lot of you are very jealous of the Wt. Society’s annual income and the money they/we have in the bank. Jehovah has indeed blessed us. HIS people! It takes money to fulfill our commission, yes our command from our lord and master Jesus Christ to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. What other religious organization on earth has been able accomplish what we have? Yes, to fulfill that command at Matthew 28:19, 20? NONE! As the apostle Paul was inspired to write at Ephesians 4:5, 6 that there is only "One Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” YES! There is only ONE true faith. One true religion. And WE, yes, Jehovah's Witnesses are that one true religion. As Peter said to Jesus, 'where else are we going to go lord?' Yes. What other religion on the face of this earth is truly preaching the good news of the kingdom? What other religion is as completely united as Jehovah's Witnesses? NONE!
