The Trinity is a concept based on certain writings and pointers in scripture. Is it possible that God didn't really want us to know what he was doing specifically with our salvation process, so he didn't come right out and state it, but the writers kind of figured it out or rather had faith that God was all 3 working together for the salvation of his humans that keep messing up? Doesn't mean they would come right out and write it as well in depth. I find it difficult to see that some people don't think God had the power to do this, or that he would'nt do this. Surely he could come out and say, "Hey look at me, I'm God in the Flesh, Now I'll die for you so you can obey me and be free from the result of sin". People would'nt get it. There had to be a showing of sacrifice so that man could understand what was done for their salvation. God had to put into play something symbolic of this and it was a Son.
No matter when the "Trinity" was introduced into Christianity as a real thought, I feel man has uncovered who God is and was in scripture and we have acknowledged it by putting faith in Christ, the "Face of God".
God could also have just said, no one is saved unless you believe in me, and come to me only. But he did right, in the old testament, with a back up plan called the messiah.
That wasn't working though either right? He had to go and make a part of himself a fleshly man, in order to wake the stupid humans up, kind of like "Hello...McFly" with a knock on the forehead.
It's not hard for me to believe and have faith in it. I'm just glad I don't have to be under the mind control aspects of the WTS, and am free to put faith in the scripture on my own...."and the Word was God....Christ created ALL things.........There are no Gods before OR after me".
And as
