After a long day, What helps you relax and unwind?

For me it's having a Strawberry Margarita.

It's re-freshing and it puts me in a good mood.

I ride my motorcycle along the coastal highway, and enjoy the wind, sun and view.

WAC: If it involves something you would NOT do in front of your mom, no I don't want to know. lol

Stealth: Do you have any pics of that outdoor scene? Sounds nice.

Listening to music, gardening, drinking beer or wine, socialising. Such activities open up safety valves and allow steam to escape reducing the inner pressure which soon returns to normal levels.

When it's still light out, I like to walk on the beach at the end of the day; and sometimes after dark.

Tonight, it was red wine with honey roasted turkey and artichoke dip on artisan bread. Thank goodness for Costco!

HHmm, I do several different things to unwind. Rarely do I use alcohol to unwind, for me that is usually used to wind up! lol

Usually it involves getting back to nature - whether walking on the beach at sunset or early morning (when I have access to the beach), or gardening, or lik today I took a really good 5k hike through the woods to a dam, and enjoyed the water.

Sometimes a good book helps me unwind, or a nice hot bath.

Tonite for the first time I tried meditation - and wow! That was an experience - totally helped me to unwind.
