I do jigsaw puzzles using Jigs@w Puzzle 2 by Tibo Software. I usually find the pictures I turn into puzzles at Worth1000.com in the photoshop contest galleries.
Otherwise I go to my sportsman's club and shoot a couple thousand rounds of 7.62X39.
I also like to cook, read, invent things, weld, sculpt, or snark about stuff.
If I'm feeling REALLY vegetative I watch a move on the flatscreen.

After dinner, a brandy and a nice hit of good ganja. Walk out into the back yard in the dark and look up at the stars while enjoying a good whiz on a bush. Go back inside and sleep like a baby.
Lots of different things...depending on what I'm 'unwinding' from.
But as of lately since I'm taking a foreign language course, just listening to the audio CD's makes me feel very relaxed.
If I'm unwinding from stress and things I hold inside, of course kickboxing or any exercise works wonders.
Lately I've been listening to toning tapes and doing meditation, it totally unwinds me.
come home, put on my nightgown, make a cup of decaf or a glass of iced tea and go sit on the patio and look at the view. Knit, read, write, roam the internet, talk with friends.
