    Never heard of him.

Religious fanatics do not inspire good feelings or thoughts. His vitriolic comments regarding gay people, women involved in the feminist movement, and just about everybody who did not share his particular religious viewpoints put him in the company of the religious fanatics in the muslim world. I don't have feelings of sadness in his passing.

Him and I may not see eye to eye, but I wish him a peaceful rebirth where he gets enlightened and rises above this religous virus thing he was inflicted this time around. I wish the best for his berieved, and close friends.

He was too much of a fundamentalist and too pro zionist. In earlier days he was also racist segregationist though later he changed that position.

I couldn't agree more. I guess Falwell's greatest feat was to crown King George W. This world is worse off thanks to fanatics like Falwell who lead the willful blind.

If there was a rebirth thing that was to happen to him, I doubt it would be peaceful...

He'd probably come back as a dung-beetle or tseste fly.

or some virus or bacteria that causes sexually transmitted diseases.

    Kudra,

I don't think it happens that way, you come back the same speicies, until you stop the rebirths and go to nirvana. Anyway who knows even what the "me" we call ourselves really is? It's all mental constructs anyway.
