Lets say some spirit mediums are real, If some are real then I am sure some would be fake. There are posers in every walk of life.

Oooh, now that's one I'd LOVE to see. She really bugs me for some reason.....I saw her on Larry King Live one night and it was hilarious. She was getting virtually no hits and 99% misses for 'channeling' or whatever the hell it is that she does with people on the phone. You could see her getting aggrevated. What was most bothersome though is when someone called in concerned about having a certain (serious) illness and Sylvia Brown told her that no, what she had was not a serious illnes. Stupidi broad.

I actually got one of them at a fair once. One of my co-workers is a great believer in these psychics and when we were at the CNE a few years ago, she asked one of them a question and was all excited with their answer and took it as gospel truth. So I stepped up and asked the psychic if my 'late husband' had any message for me. Oh yes he did! He wanted me to know that he loves me and the children and misses us. I said to her "That's quite interesting-----considering I've never been married and have no children"

ZOINK! Right in the badoobies! And yes, she looked as though she wanted to strangle me to death.

A few years ago I told a man in front of me in a checkout line at a gas station, "you used to be a farmer, didn't you?" I don't know why I blurted that out, but he was surprised and admitted he had been a farmer once. ( the gas station was in the middle of the corn belt)

I also saw a young man in a suit at restaurant for lunch on a Saturday- I told him, " you're a JW aren't you?"- Bingo , right again

Maybe, I have missed my calling.

We're actually having a little viewing party on June 1st for Most Haunted. Apparently they are doing a 7 hour live show. Mostly so we can yell at the TV and trash them.

LOL, I'll join ya from here. I always thought he was a nut job. But yet I still get a kick out of watching it. I like the other ones........I think its A Haunting and Haunted? I had to laugh, on one of the most haunted shows.....for the FIRST time ever, they caught something odd on the tape, and wigged out......because they know they are a bunch of fakes!

I believe that spirits exist and that there are some people out there who can communicate with them.

The trouble is, there are charlatans. Derek Acorah does more acting than communicating with the dead, it appears.

I watch this show from time to time and am not convinced. But, I have to admit they put on a good show. The only thing I find interesting is the "history" in some of the places they go, castles and such.

The problem I have with spirit mediums and even the JW religion is pretty much the same: the claims they make cannot be substantiated. You have to take it on "faith".
