    ...How many???..It is my experience,there are at least 3 X-Dubs for every 1-Pro Dub..Probably more..But ..We will go with that..3 x6 million=18 million.....We are much larger,than they can ever hope to be...OUTLAW

If you counted dead people in the mix

Hell, why not, the LDS (latter day saints) do it... why do you think they have such an outrageously thorough genealogical database? So they can baptize and save their dead relatives, even if said relatives would be horrified by the prospect.

As for the idea of tracking this, it would not be possible without a huge computer and a lot of manhours survyeying people. But think of everyone who has ever studied, raised in the Borg, married a Borg, D/F'd, D/A'd, etc..... many "Touched By an Angel the borg"...

    be interesting though...

    This is discussed at http://www.jwfacts.com/index_files/statistics.htm

Over the last 10 years there were 2,850,000 baptisms but publishers only increased by 1,324,000. Therefore the were over a million that have left in just the last 10 years and 50% of the number baptised. JW's have one of the highest turnovers of any religion.

    Ex-baptized JWs only?

What about those "raised" a JW who walkaway without ever being baptized?

What about those husbands and wives who come with their spouses but never make that final commitment?

jwfacts shows what I call the MIA.

I don't know, but I'd bet the number is increasing faster than the number
    becoming jws

There must be millions over the years but the point is not their numbers whether they are great or small but that they have failed to set up some organised resistance against the WTS something that allowed the cult to evade a great deal of damage.

By something organised I don't mean an anti JW religion but anything non religious just to have something effective to fight them with. Perhaps the psychological turmoil and confusion involved in leaving the JWs (fear, guilt, humiliation don't allow for a clear mind), has prevented this from happening to a large extend but something was done in a limited way with silent lambs and AJWRB.

Reading this thread, I had a surprisingly morbid thought:

I'm just one more body they'll have to clean up after Armaggedon, so the more work they have to do, the better. Of course, the only reason I thought that was because it isn't going to be true.

It's sad that I used to think and be around others who used to think in terms of who is or isn't gonna survive the big A. Sad sad sad. So much for not being judgmental, eh?

I like the idea of the 3 to 1 mix...18 million exjws...vs 6 million jws. We should all gang up on them.

JW's have one of the highest turnovers of any religion.

Mmmm...turn overs. I like apple turn overs, myself. Put a little cream cheese on top...yummy

Sorry...I just got up and haven't eaten breakfast yet.
