    Ooooh loads of ideas badboy!

Maybe you could arrange to see a business start-up adviser to help sort through your ideas? Possibly the Job Centre can put you in touch with one. They'll discuss things, tell you what will or won't work and other helpful stuff such as the legal and financial sides, market research etc.

Good luck with your venture wherever it takes you

I make a reasonable wage from the Internet; so it can be done. Not from writing blogs in my case though.

Jobcenters are a waste of space. I was unemployed for a while and people were treated like cattle.

"So what are you doing to look for a job?"

"Paper, Internet and the computers at the jobcenter"

    "Thats great, sign here. NEXT!"

lol - it's not you who fills my inbox daily with ads for 'performance enhancing drugs' is it?

needproof - the last time I went looking for a job they told me to go back in a few weeks because there was nothing much worth applying for!

Fortunately, my next trip was to sign off the dole - a privilege I had to wait almost two hour for - only to discover that they hadn't actually bothered to sign me on in the first place (a full month earlier)

So based on minimum wage you can do 3 1/2 hours per week without losing anything, or you can work up to 16 hours for a reduction in income support!

If you haven't worked for a while, you're probably best to ease yourself back in. If you end up doing over 16 hours (so classed as full-time) you'd be able to get Tax credits if your income is under a certain amount (£16000 for a single person household). There's a good tool here to check if you're getting everything you're entitled to:

I also found the business link site - it has a good page to help you work out any business plans you have. I think this is the organisation which will give you an adviser when you're ready to get started too.

You won't know unless you give it a try!

Just start by writing your ideas down, a rough idea of how much you think it might cost and go from there. I didn't notice whether there's a 'contact us' button on the business link site, but if there is, contact them once you have your general thoughts (don't forget to mention your disability situation) and they should be able to put you in touch with a local contact who can talk a bit more about them with you - or at least point you in the right direction!
