The human Jesus was a Great Teacher and The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived
The human Jesus was a Great Teacher and The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived
I must respectfully disagree on the points of; A: Greatest man (obviously me) and B: Ever Lived :D
Religion is a snare and a racket.
Ummmmmm......
Can't think of any others.
if i did believe in the bible, they make a good point about the trinity, that's about it.
All of them -- if you're a brain-dead dub.
+1 on smoking
Jesus was not born on Dec. 25
Holiday's are mostly pagan (as a pagan god i hate the competition)
Maybe more, nothing to do with bible though.
Jesus wasn't born on December 25.
That's a good one that most outside the WTS admit is true.
But, count back 9 months from around the end of September/beginning of October when the WTS says is his real birthdate, we come to his conception. So life really started around December 25 for Jesus, as a human anyway.

blondie....That's exactly what Pastor Russell believed as well. The Society today would leave the impression that the early Bible Students celebrated Christmas without any awareness of "pagan origins" and the "truth" of December 25. Actually, Russell was well aware of this but made the same observation, that such a date would correspond to the Annunciation and incarnation.
40 years ago? What is it with you and the conception thing? You brought that up on another thread, the birthday song. Truly curious.
