I think knowing what day the world was to end was not for us to know, because how can we show love if we know what day it is,because then we would do what ever we want for a while and then when the day came near we would chang our ways and do what he wants us to do.It makes to me that we should not know what day he is to end this world and bring on a new one,That way we can always be prepared.I cant change the way I feel about that.You know a thief would never tell you when he is going to rob you because then he wouldnt be able to.How can we prove loyalty to him if we knew.

Seems to me he didnt know.However, he was sent to teach us the truth about God I think that piece of information was not suppose to be revealed to anyone including jesus. We are suppose to prove loyalty that we can stand on guard at all times not when is the right time to be good. Not knowing means we should always be prepared no matter what year it is no matter what age we are,it will still happen. A hundred years to us can mean a single day to God

Just like it is also written Satan is the ruler of this world many things will seem right to us, but in Gods eyes they might not be.We need not to trust in this world so much of what the wise man thinks but God knows the answer to lifes questions.There are many false things in this world if we dont trust in what God says everything that we come across might be wrong, we are only human, imperfect humans that dont know the answers to everything since we did not create ourselves

That's not what the SOCIETY says, they claim to have the answer to everything. They claim to have God's Spirit and backing.

You do not think for yourself, you parrot exactly what the society teaches you. Therefore, you MUST think that they have the truth.

I feel sorry for you and for your 4 children,

I hope that you are not homeschooling them,

and if you are, I hope you put them back into school where they can get a proper education from a certified teacher.

I asked the elders if the end was near and they said yes.
I asked them they can give me a written guarantee that the end will be here by the end of 2008.
They said no. I said so you can guarantee the end will be here in 5 years. They said no. I said
how about 20 years and they said they can not guarantee that but the end was near.
I could stomach the meetings more if evey other 5 minutes there were not comments about how
close the end is.

That's not very wise of them. They should've given you a 20-year guarantee. Hell, they probably wouldn't be around then to honor it anyway.

Yes my childrem are in school and you do not know what can happen since you dont know the future and if the society are not people then what are they .Also I did not come on here to be judge just to give my opinon just like everyone else is doing. I feel that they are correct about the future because after they finish talking to me I read in the bible and God speaks to us and I understand what is wriiten in there.
