Mahershalalhashbaz (great for kindergarten age to learn their letters).

LOL...yep...that's certainly one plus side to that...too bad they'll be beaten up frequently on the play ground

I always wanted to have a friend called Nabel which sort of means "stupid". Then I'd make a t-shirt with an arrow pointing to the side saying, "I'm with Nabel."

Thanks for all the ideas...you guys are hilarious.

Shazzbat or Shazbot may not be biblical but certainly has the right ring to it. A sort of nouveau biblical I suppose.

Evil-Merodach, son of Nebuchadnezzar. He was neither evil (well, not that evil) nor .........whatever.

But I remember in a book study an earnest young brother giving an answer and trying to vary it a little - " Merodach, who was evil..............." Maybe you had to be there. We took our humor where we could.............

When I was preggers with my first baby. my mom thought i should use a bible name. I didn't really want to BUT I did like that name Cain. So, I thought about naming him Kain. my mom had a huge hissy fit. Anyway I named him Kylee Orion. I had planned though if I had a girl to name her Katurah...i thought it was a beautiful name even though she was one of Abrahams concubines.

Not that these are bad names but i grew up with a JW boy and his name was Micah.

Another one that i knew from another cong was Levi.

But when i had children i knew that i wasn't going to name them anything biblical and nothing with links with the bible.

Now i have 2 very unique names for them. As my name is hebrew and my hubbys name is Joseph so we wanted not so plain names, but easy enough for people to spell and say, even though our sons name is easy we still have a lot of poeple have troubles with it.

    Helen
