    BS = Bible Student or bull*hit, depending on context
    BS can also mean Book study so be careful of the context d2d = door to door Eventually this will go into the JW FAQs in the Best of series for easy reference

    PO = Presiding overseer

    FS = Field Service

    SIL = Sister-in-law

    BIL = Brother-in-law

    MIL = Mother-in-law

    FIL = Father-in-law

    BTW = By the way

    A couple more I remembered today:

    FWIW - for what it's worth

    PMSL - 'peeing' myself laughing - rarely used here but worth listing (not to be confused with PMS which is definitely not a laughing matter!!)

    PTSD - Post traumatic stress disorder - again not seen often here but I didn't know what it meant when I first saw it.

    That is used more than one might expect. There have been several good discussions regarding how many ex-JWs experience most of the symptoms
