Chris and Mark Knight (twins) and their younger brother Tim Knight -- they were at Bethel in the mid- to late-1970's. We pioneered together in Richardson, Texas for a few years before they left for Bethel and I think the family moved to California after that, so that's probably where they ended up.

Seeker4, I knew the whole Spatz family. When I was very little, my parents and I lived in Willow Grove, PA, and Royal Spatz was like my grandfather. I think Ray may be his nephew or maybe even his son -- not sure. They were a cool family, very much entrenched in the organization, but nice to me anyway! My parents told me that if Royal Spatz read something in the Watchtower that he disagreed with, he'd hop on a train and go to New York to argue it out with Freddie and Nathan. From him I grew up thinking of this as "the truth" but not something to be accepted blindly or without question.

So no-one knows me from waitering in Bklyn for 3 lousy years? 89-92????

I wasn't there doing that time, but legend of your service was epic. When I arrived in 94 they use to say how no one could serve quiche lorain and granola like you. Word is you completely revolutionized the gillead lunch. J/K

    Minimus~

I knew Bruce, we sat at the same table for a while....

Does anybody remember Jim LaBrenz? He was a tall, white guy from Texas who worked in cardcutting for a while. I often wonder what happened to some of these guys. Gymbob

    Blondie:

I think that is Alan Brenneman; he worked on the service desk. His parents were special pioneers when he was growing up and then in the circuit work. I heard he was going to the NYC Italian congregation and eventually moved to Florida.

We had the Harley Brenaman as our CO back in the 80s in Illinois. At the time their son Alan was single and there was always talk of hooking him up with a regular pioneer sister in our circuit who had Italian heritage (her nonJW dad was Italian, her JW mom not). I didnt have a high opinion of Alan.. I thought he was an idiot. The sister must have thought so too I guess. Ironically, she still isnt married last I heard. Years later, we had an Italian MTS grad/CO Michael Emilio.... single... and you woulda thought he would have been perfect for this sister.... she didnt like him either...lol...

so damn picky... no longer she was still single last I heard....I think if the WT had nuns..she would have been one... on topic, I wonder what has happened to her? (I wont be mean and say her name...lol)

There was a family we knew growing up that were known to be SuperSpiritual. It would not have surprised me if one or more of the sons ended up at Bethel... I Ithink this family had 3 sons and 2 daughters... .husband and wife Floyd and Dena Brown... sons floyd, jeremy and julian... cant remember the girls names... they were in st louis for awhile then moved to west lafayette indiana.... my last contact was the summer of 1981 I think..(only reason i remember that was we were bored and went and seen a real long (and really violent) movie called "Lion of the Desert"...and imdb.com lists that as the year of release)...

I had another name, but now it escapes me...
