When I was 16 I saved 3 kids from a house fire, the family that lived next door to us were kind of trashy people, they would leave their kids at home alone while they went out to bars, I was in the backyard at my parents house working out it was about 8pm I heard the fire alarm go off next door so I looked over at the wall and saw the fire, I ran into my house and grabbed 3 fire extingushers, ran next door and found the older (13) girl crouched down in the hall way screaming, I grabbed her and made her leave the house, she yelled that the babies were in the room that was on fire, I ran back into the house and grabbed the two little girls (3) & (5) and carried them outside, then I went back in and knocked down the fire with my extingushers I notice it was only the bed and curtains that were on fire so I busted the window by tossing out one of the empty extingusher out the window and tossed the bed outside.

ok weird thing is the parents were mad that I broke the window, they told me that I was going to have to pay for the window!!!

When I was about 18 a group of us young witness teens took a hiking trip to Death Valley. We stopped to get water at a gas station for our canteens, and if any of you have ever been to DV you know how it got it's name. It hit 124 degrees that day and the water came out of the faucet HOT!

So as we're filling our canteens out in the middle of the most god-forsaken place you ever seen, this beat-up old truck pulls in and the back of the truck is FILLED with ice and cold drinks, and the old guy driving the truck gets out and says, "hep yerselves boys!" We didn't care how much it cost...we filled everything we had with ice and drinks.

Then the guy leaves. We all thought that one of us paid him, but as we got talking later, nobody gave him anything!

I've never figured that one out!

My mother woke up about 12:30 am complaining of chest pains. I got her medication for her but she died in my presence. Later that morning I discovered that her bed was made when before she died it wasn't. It had been her lifelong habit to make her bed each morning before even using the bathroom. I figured that another family member made it up after coming to the house but when asked about it nobody said they did. Also that last day the kitchen clock that had been there for more than 40 years stopped. When going upstairs for the final time she commented "I won't be coming down anymore" (I had never heard her say that before) instead of her normal "Good night." Earlier in the day she came into the basement where I was working out and just sat there watching me for several minutes, never saying a word, and then going back upstairs. She had never ever done that before. She died on the 7th anniversary of my father's funeral.

A few years back I went out with my roommate. I don't remember if we had gone to a club or a concert but we came home in the early morning hours when it was still dark out. It was a 2 story apartment complex in not the best area in town. We parked and started walking up to our place but when we came around the corner, there were tons of men dressed all in black with their weapons drawn- they had huge guns that they were all pointing in the same general direction and there was a helicoptor hovering overhead. Everywhere you looked there they were, tons of them and it was like something out of a movie. They were also beating the bushes with something. We were so freaked out that we turned around and went back to the car and went to an all night coffee shop. I'm pretty sure it was some kind of drug bust but I never did find out for sure.

A lot of weird things happened at that place...

There was a guy who would look for his dog named "Lucy" every single night for hours and I'm talking always after 2 am. He'd just walk around yelling at the top of his lungs for that darn dog until one night I had enough and I went on the balcony and told him to shut the f*ck up already. It was like 3 am and I had to work the next morning early. There were lots of interesting people at that place, can't say that I miss it one bit ;)

I wonder if the men in black were looking for Lucy too? Perhaps one of the neighbors had connections and decided to find the damn dog once and for all!
