When Jehovah’s Witnesses knock on your door there are always two of them. One is a deceiver in training. The other is a demon, training the deceiver.
They make themselves look just as bad when they 'start on' about Satan and the Demons!

It's just not very 'fashionable' or even 'sane' to be considering evil spirits as a reality anymore.

Yes you are right 100% but my first instantaneous impression when i scanned the demons reference is that this is exactly what a born again told me at the door and i totally blew it off. There are a LOT of people who consider JW's as evil born agains and atheists alike.

Most R & F JWs believe that they are truely following God so I don't agree "that one is a demon and the other a demon in training." Often two JW of equal standing (two pioneers ) will go out together. When someone starts to rant and rave they better have all their facts right or they just come out sounding like lunatics themselves.

Derek I understand what you are saying the writer did go over the top by the way he introduced colourful descriptions of satan into it but what I meant was that he got correctly the gist of the JW operating mode which involves manipulation of the emotions and eventually a turning off of critical thinking.

Talking about getting possesed by satan and demons will not appeal to rationally and scientifically thinking individuals.

This article is a little extreme, to say the least.

I'm all for warning the general public about the jws false teachings,
but I don't think writing something like this is the best way to do
    it.

A visit from the jws means that there are demons at your door? I
just can't see the public taking this "warning" seriously, they're
more likely to see it as a joke.

Is the 52,000 changes or mistakes in the King James Bible correct?

If it is, then it would certainly knock the claim of the WT society members that they can prove their beliefs from ANY Bible you care to pick!

Personally, I've never seen a JW use regularly any bible but the New World Translation.

But this is a good point that the writer makes if it is correct.

snake-01lg.gif "When they open their mouth the serpent hisses." In the very first lie in the garden of Eden in the devils confabulation with Eve.Satan spoke 54 words (i counted them) ONLY 5 WORDS WERE LIES "you positively will not die" the rest were innuendo. It's about the same ratio with the Watchtower just as deadly and i'm being kind. The Watchtower publication 'Revelation Climax' book alone is 95% lies --------- HEY! WHAT JW'S SAY ABOUT EX MEMBERS APOSTATES R DEMONS in da FLESH The Bogeyman

Moomanchu - You've got to admit that JWs are bloody irritating though!

I don't know if you remember the clip of the british BBC reporter dealing with the Scientologists and how he 'lost it' understandably!

Watching that, I thoroughly understood why he lost it! Funnily enough, my brother in law, non JW, never has been and never will, felt the same after speaking to JWs at his door!

Their sheer arrogance, stupidity and brainwashedness just brings out the 'beast' in you!!!

If I read this article and had no previous experience of JW's I would probably think it was OTT and with all the rubbish about "Satan's Agents" I would mostly likely think the author a bit nuts to be honest
