Congrats to those of you who have taken the skills learned as a JW to make a living post WTS.

Then again I have to wonder what so many of us would be doing if we hadn't sacrificed our youth and time and energy into a publishing company

    During my Dub/Pioneer days, I

unloaded trucks for a grocery store

    washed dishes at a restaurant

    prep cooked at a restaurant

cleaned a bowling alley-yucch! the bathrooms were disgusting

    Post Dubdom, I

worked as a darkroom tech, along with layout and stripping-(no, not that kind-LOL) for a magazine company

    worked at an antiques shop

worked at another awesome antiques shop in an exclusive area in Ft. Lauderdale

decorated the windows of the above antiques shop so well, that an Interior Design firm saw them, and came in and offered me a job with them which I graciously accepted, and ended up with several clients in Ft. Lauderdale, including (in collaboration with my Boss) Niki Taylor-(Supermodel), vignettes at design centers, showhouses for Junior League, etc. I did this for about 6 years, and still consider my time there as the best, and the owners of the firm and I are still good friends.

Moved, and now I am an antiques dealer, and do some freelance decorating. I also dabble in Vintage jewelry, along with precious metals.

I shudder to think that I would probably still be cleaning toilets if I had never left the Borg.
