You will occasionally see a younger bro. go for an older sis. but there is usually a compelling reason besides their "spirituality", namely, a hou$e and a big bank account. These two things make any woman better looking to certain men.

By "young" and "old" , I am thinking of around 30 years age difference. Anything much less is not really so remarkable. Yes, I agree that it is more prevalent among the dubs.

Nothing wrong with any mature person marrying whomever they want , but some of the experiences here about teenagers are a bit creepy..

Why? Well , the dub teaching is that you marry for eternity , and that in the oh-so-soon New World we will all equalize to be perpetual 30 somethings - so whats the problem?

There is the point also about a "father figure" and the fact that so many of the young male dubs are pretty juvenile in their ways and lack "worldly experience" and what the dubs call 'sprituality'

Thinking of Leaving

I would of probably ended up marrying an old man if I didn't leave the Org. Imagine 34 and not married yet, the only ones available were divorced JW''s with kids and emotional baggage. And because there are 10 sisters to every brother, chances were pretty slim I was going to be the "chosen" one.

Now that I'm a worldling I have an array of choices. It's great! I no longer have to date some hypocritical, self righteous JW and force it to work just because I want to get married and there aren't that many to chose from.

My friend, still a JW, went on the internet and met this "brother" who was 20 years her senior. She was just over forty and he was over 60. They eventually met on a cruise after a year of communicating and guess what? The "brother" wasn't interested in her after he met her in person. What bothers me about this is that she really liked him (old and wrinkled up as he was) and would of considered marrying this man simply because she was 40, never married, no kids and still a virgin. The sisters in the borg have their work cut out for them. Thank God I'm out!

In my opinion, it's not neccessarily a sex thing. I like older men because they're more experienced in a lot of areas, hence more complex personalities, hence more interesting. A helluva lot more fun to talk to, most of the time. As far as sexuality, I've no idea, but I would assume that experience of years must make for good results. I date an older guy, and from day one, the thing that turned me on the most was his intelligence; the sex was a happy discovery after I'd already fallen in love with him.

I like the older ones. .. Not 30 years older but at least ten. They are so much more mature and settled in. They usually have themselves figured out by then. They appreciate intelligence. And I don't have to teach them what to do in bed.

Hmmm....Older men and younger women. There's a real novel idea for you. The idea of someone becoming a rich young widow and you don't have to deal with somebody else's kids is kind of appealing. I need to think about this. Then again they might have something against Cadillacs.
