Ok Cab is my favorite. My wife and I went to Napa/Sonoma earlier this year. I have never hasd so many fine wines in my life. The highlights? The estate of Gloria Ferrar is priceless as is the champagne and the pinot nior.

Milat is a very small winery, (42 acres), but every sample was necture from the gods.

La Crema, Peju, Francisca, I won't forget.

Stay in Mill Valley. It's a great little town to start the day with.

Yummy...havent had that stuff in a long time. Can't seem to find it at the local Kroger, so I will go to a more specialized wine shop.

I drink mostly Merlot, but I also like Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. I like to save the Scotch for later at night, like before bed, unless of course, I'm sipping it ALL night.

Had this on the weekend -

Voted best Ontario red on the LCBO’s general list at Niagara’s Cuvée competition this year. Sports nicely ripened raspberry-strawberry jam fruit with flecks of tobacco and black pepper. It’s medium weight and fleshy, with a woodsy tobacco finish. Mixed lamb, beef, mushroom and red pepper kebabs. LCBO 433714 BB

There's a few good wines that I really like. My favorite so far is Robert Mondavi's Cabernet Sauvignon (from California). I like the Wolf Blass Grey and Brown labels, but they're $30.00 a bottle. I've recently tried a few good red wines from Chile that are excellent too.

Biggest mistake I ever made was to start drinking the expensive wines. I used to drink Maria Christina which was $7.00/bottle. After I got into the good stuff, I tried drinking the Marie Christina and just about puked as it tastes like vinegar to me now......
