Threestars - I believe the Aztec calandar predicts the end of a 7000 year earth cycle not the end of the world.
The world is in constant flux and change, hardly any wonder that prognosticating is ALWAYS in fashion!! The 'end of the world' arrives everyday for somebody somewhere!
