Didn't they predict the start of the Great Tribulation about this time last year, to start before 2007? The CrapTract predicting the end of false religion was supposed to have set that off, and it didn't. Then they predicted it before the Crapmorial 2007, then before the Grand Boasting Session 2007 (which is already in progress). Then there was the June 12, 2007 flubup last month. So, there is no way I am going to trust that the end of the system of things can come in 2008.

Wait a minute...Didn't Armageddon come sometime in the 1990's? I think Bruce Willis was in it and got blown up.

'Prognosticators to the left of me, prognosticators to the right.....Here I am....stuck in the middle with you!!'
My little girl was asking why we don't see Grandma and pa much anymore. I said that they were a bit annoying as they were always saying that we're all going to die at Armageddon if we don't go to the meetings! She said: 'What's Armageddon?' I explained that JWs believe everyone who is not a JW is going to be killed soon by their God.
She nodded her head sadly. 'Poor grandma and grandpa!' she said. 'They are silly!'
Out of the mouths of babes!!!

Quotes
Once upon a time...
There was a poster on this board who predicted Armageddon by a certain date. That date came and went (several years ago now). That poster (I can't remember the name) quietly disappeared from JWD. I always imagined the reason was because they could not get online because they have already given away their computer, thinking that they wouldn't need it. I guess I'll never know for sure what happened to them.
For the record, I will personally wager ANY amount of money to ANYONE that ANY date of YOUR choosing is NOT armagedon. Anyone care to bet?
