Who do you turn to? Do you go to your spouse? What if the problem IS with your spouse, do you talk to your parents, siblings, work associates, doctor? What if the problem is with your kids? And the person you would normally go to is your spouse, but you disagree on how to handle the problem, then what?

disclaimer.....I'm not having any problems, this is just a general question

Hey Lisa......there you are...I've missed you girl!!!

When I have a problem, I generally try to work it out myself. I'm not the kind who likes to air my troubles to anyone, or burden them. My bestest friend, is my husband, but if we're not seeing eye-to-eye on a matter, then I'll mull it over with me, myself and I. He'll do the same, then we'll call each other, ( if he's at work) and talk it out.

Occasionally, if it's really getting to me, I'll talk to Mary, as she's a real good friend.

I hope you are ok, and having a great summer.....

Oh....I have, in the past, spoke with my family physician....he's awesome. And he's a friend too.

Im not much for asking advice and whatnot.

Mostly turn inward and they seem to almost always get resolved. Dont feel like I really need to turn to anyone because problems always just work out?

Sorry dont have spouseage or kids.

I guess who you'd discuss a problem with should depend on the nature of the problem, eg you wouldn't normally see the doctor for a non-medical problem. I'm not a parent or spouse but I guess if I was I'd talk with a trusted friend who is one also. There needs to be some empathy/understanding for advice to be given.

I tend to bottle things up, but not as much as I used to. I try to work through it myself first but if that doesn't work I have a few close friends that I can talk things over with. Or if it's something I'm finding really difficult to actually talk about, I post here too - which I find extremely helpful because of the much wider perspective I'm given, with relative anonymity.

I run on a threadmill, running helps me think and clear my mind so that I can sort out my problem.

If I have a problem I usually just try and work it out myself. I'm very weird about opening up to anyone with anything "personal".

Do you go to your spouse? : Never

What if the problem IS with your spouse, do you talk to your parents, siblings, work associates, doctor?: Best Friend, close friends, & close work friends

What if the problem is with your kids? And the person you would normally go to is your spouse, but you disagree on how to handle the problem, then what?: No one, and there's a huge, huge problem at that point.

Problems? Who has time for problems?

The way to keep problems away is more meetings, more field service, more commenting at the meetings, more personal study.

    More, more, more!!!!!

Do you go to your spouse? : Depends on what the problem is, usually I will eventually talk to him about it.

What if the problem IS with your spouse, do you talk to your parents, siblings, work associates, doctor?: Best Friend, mother-in-law (she's wonderful)

What if the problem is with your kids? And the person you would normally go to is your spouse, but you disagree on how to handle the problem, then what?: Always husband (father of kids), we don't always see eye to eye, but we usually balance each other out. Sometimes I talk to him, my best friend. If your kids see you are divided on a problem they will take advantage of the situation.
