How Google Proves The Watchtower is Deliberately Lying

  I have had access to the internet for 9 years and I NEVER looked at ANYTHING that might even hint of apostasy until just this past winter. Interestingly it was the Wikipedia article on JW's that started the ball rolling for me. (those links are addictive!) I guess Wikipedia seemed innocent enough, I mean its Wikipedia.... it must be unbias and objective!!

  The thing is i probably viewed a thousand hours of porn online (literally) before I even entertained the thought about possibly viewing a site that might possibly even think about suggesting that the WTS could maybe be mistaken.................

  The WTS continues to demonize the internet, I was just at the assembly for 3 days and this topic came up repeatedly. All of you apostates are bound and bent to do only one thing in life, and that is to weaken the faith of Jehovahs faithful servants by any means possible!! And this includes "disguising" yourselves as faithful witnesses in chat rooms and on my space/facebook only to drop subtle hints that cause one to begin questioning their faith. You guys are soooo tricky!!!!!!!!

  2 minutes in looking this stuff up.

  i think they depend more heavily on the flock heeding the ominous warnings pounded into their heads about the evils of the internet.

  Here is something dumb: When the WTS put up their website, many in the congregation didn't know,except by word of mouth. An elder that I knew from another congregation, when telling me about the website, almost whispered the URL and made sure to tell me several times that the last three letters were ORG. He was also very nervous about telling me.

  I totally believe that. When the internet "first came out" (hehe) I remember all the talk about how "wrong" it was..... hell I even felt that way! I remember expressing my opinion about the evil internet when a sister told me that "the society even has a website". "Really??" I asked almost shocked! Oh, well maybe the internet isnt so evil, if it were certainly the WTS wouldnt have a website!

  I dont believe I have ever seen or heard a reference to a website in any magazine or talk and I probably never will. This might make R&F think that the internet is "okay"

  I started googling anonymous quotes (Ex. "One noted bible researcher stated:...") I found often the quote would be attrib'd to a preacher of CHRISTENDOM!!! That really chapped my hide. They purposfully didnt give refs on those quotes. But google knew who they were! :D

  I bet that is true of virtually every male JW.

  The porn which the WT correctly highlights as damaging and addictive they all manage to overide their consciences and watch but "apostate stuff" they will avoid like the plague because "mother says so"

  I dont believe the Wactower. But I have a impossible time beliveing evolution. And I have read Darwin and Sagan. I really dont know what is going on. I see evidence on the web that mankind is being lied to and decieved. Why? I cant put my finger on it.

  I call this planet the forum of many truths and maybe the answer lies within that name. We see what we want to see and we go to the after life we imagine. Enough babling

  For me the math for evolutioin does not work. And if you want to reference other non evolution thinking, creationism which will give you the thougt process to check yourself and be objective. Here are a couple of links.

  I dont know what the answer is. I do know everyone is working an angle. The above sights are selling their position. And academia sells the position of evolution. If you are a professor in Academia you must publish or perish and if you dont promote evolution the mainstream beileif you will be thrown out of your college. The devils in the details.

  An independent canidate will never be president in the United States and creationism or design will not be taught in the university. At least not in this era. Those are realities. It does not mean that an independent canidate would not be best for Americans. And it doesnt mean that we evolved. The theory of evolution is a pseudo science. In my opinion. Its the price of admission to belong to academia. Its the only game in town If you want to be a phd. you chant the hym of evolution and go about your business.

  A lot of people are mad at God and the bible so they gravitate to the antithesis of God and the bible.

  I'm just saying there could be other possiblities to escape this maze we are in.

  Excellent point. The Internet grows in pervasiveness (and persuasiveness) daily and soon we will all be connected all the time. As the power of the Internet grows the power of cult leaders will decrease. Either the Internet will reshape the WTS or it will shrink into irrelevant obscurity.

  However, on the other side of the coin, there is abundant information on the Internet that is bogus. For some reason people are willing to accept Internet stories without doing any verification.- Just like they accept the history of the WT that is in the WT books.
