If there is a god he is absent.
for all of you who thinks god exists and cares, what if you were in a war torn country and you HAD TO watch while your beloved wife/husband and little boys/girls were raped and killed before your eyes, think god gives a shit now?
edited to add: So why is it that God only cares about those in developed countries? Do not the ones in poor countries who pray and who worship him whole-heartedly and who believe in him and his son deserve to have their prayers of deliverance heard? Why is God so partial?
Yeah, when you can give me a satisfactory answer as to why god allows suffering, when he has the power to stop it, then maybe I will understand why you worship it.

Funny thing is, when things get very trying for me (which isn't too often), I've prayed to God, recognizing that I might just be talking to myself.
