Undercover, I knew a couple just like that!!!! They did the exact same thing, and got almost the exact same punishment!!! Young couple in their early 20's, from the midwest.
As far as what I hid, I lived a complete double life, starting in junior high, and continued until I was 25, when I got DF'd. I was having sex when I was 17 with my girlfriend (now ex wife), I was hanging with worldly people, getting drunk, getting in fights, looking for trouble, starting fights, and having a terrible mouth and dirty sense of humor, a small porn collection (playboys), and a collection of hard rock music, a fascination with demonic stuff and R rated movies. All the while I was a great little dub at Sunday meetings, and being used at every assembly, convention, you name it. All my friends were doing the same things. I finally landed on reproof at 18, then got reproved and then DF'd at 25

I hid a lot of doubt and learned to suppress it. I learned the hard way not to ask questions because even a sincere question was usually followed up by an unwanted phone call by some over-righteous idiot.
Even though I never committed immorality while I was there, I once made the mistake of saying something controversial to somebody. As you can expect, this was followed up by an offer of a shepherding call which I felt I didn't need and I refused it. I felt it was much ado about nothing. I think the person took it as a personal affront that I refused. Too bad.
I also played down my disapproval of their stand against higher education and their lack of regard for secular work. I was also upset over the fact that they never made it a point to discourage certain individuals from pioneering who couldn't really afford to. They were more concerned with the person's 'moral standing' rather than their financial standing. They also weren't too aware of dysfunctional people until somebody had a melt-down, usually because this person had no business pioneering.

Not that I haven't told a lie, but I just didn't answer the elders when they pried; just told them I didn't know anything they needed to know....they didn't push it. Not much you can take away from a single sister.

Also used to purchase and read porn magazines hard as well as soft, funny I was reading today that the porn industry is greatly diminished nowadays because people find porn totally free on the internet, they get free today and in abundance what we had to pay for back then in the 1980's.
But I never actually commited sexual "misdeeds" at the time (fornication, adultery) except in imagination.
