It is strange that can get so worked up because of a crucifix that they put so much significance on it, all it does is remind a Christian about his saviour but they insist that people wear it because they want to be in touch with pagan gods whereas the cross wearer doesn't have a clue as to who these gods are. So much puritanism for the JWs everything has to be spick and span and they give so much attention and importance to rediculous details.

Well, Jeff! I am offended! The Bible it clearly states at Watchtower 8/15:1987 that no true Christian would wear such symbols.
Some lurkers might be surprised that a person can be disfellowshipped for failing to humbly repent from wearing a cross, even though the Bible doesn't say one negative thing about wearing symbols the brothers in Jerusalem labeled pagan or about these brothers deciding to impose such restrictions on the Gentiles.
