My house is mostly clean..despite being a bachelor,,,,I DO know how to clean a house properly.... However, I am noticing cobwebs lately. I hire my big (adopted) sis to do the heavy cleaning about once a month. I keep up on the important things. Right now I have some clutter in my living room from my last out of town work trip a month ago...yes, I just emptied the suitcase, put away most of it, but have some things to sort though...but I am almost never home to do it....maybe I should get off JWD and clean the office. My office is a bit cluttered, and this is where the cobwebs are the worst (because i only have my sis clean the living room, kitchen and bath....I clean the office and bedroom....but never seem to hit the cobwebs...)
This is why I dont have a cat anymore. For 14 years, I had to stay after a litter box and cat hair. He died a 2-3 years ago. Now I dont have to mess with that hassle anymore and I am glad. I miss my cat though. If I had a cat, I swear I would have a giant hair ball combined with the cobwebs.
One book I found helpful was called Speed Cleaning. Amazon.com has new copies for $8 + s&h, or used copies for less than $2 +s&h. I have to reorder this, my mom has my copy.

I would however get the companion guide "Clutter Control" and use it first, then that makes the cleaning easier.....it is also available for about the same prices above. I still have and use this book, I need to get it back off the shelf.
