Did you need this in Spanish for Latin America/The Carib or Europe? What I just gave you would probably not be appropriate for anyone outside the Americas.

    Confession:

    Es un placer amigo.

    It's a pleasure, friend.

    Felicidades.

    Congratulations.

Gracias por los lecciones. Estoy trabajando siempre en ameliorar mi conocimiento de espanol. Miro algunas telenovelas y comedias espanoles cada semana.

las lecciones...mejorar.... I've never ever heard ameliorar, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. Mejorar is common. del

    Otherwise it's great!

He did rather well "por ser gringo", MA. LOL!

Thanks, nvr. I have heard mejorar, but my brain didn't rewind to the right place. Of course, del is correct. I started with French, and the rule is the same: use the definite article before the word francais (espanol) except after parler (hablar). Love those Romance languages, so much easier on the ear than their Germanic cousins.

Careful with watching those telenovelas, Mum.

That's a ticket to perdition. LOL!

Some things just work better in Spanish I guess.

Agreed, MA. It is a beautiful language for expressing feelings.
