When you refer to your religion entity as the "Organization" -- and fail to see how it fits into the label of "Organized Religion" - you may have a congnative disconnect somewhere...it makes me giggle.
Does Size Really Matter?

I love how they transitioned from bashing all religion to insisting that they were one too, but all the other ones are false.

When you speak of size a couple of things come to mind. The LITTLE Flock, The OTHER Sheep, The GREAT Crowd, The CLOUD of Witnesses.
How great is the great crowd, the other sheep is actually the great crowd and cloud of witnesses.
Brother Knorr is said to have said ...Well, it looks like the great crowd isn't that great after -all...
The six million or so Jehovah's Witnesses are small in size compared to many other religions in the world.
To answer your question, size does not matter, it's what is in the heart that counts.

LOL @ Brinjen:
"Why the size of their bibles of course,"
The truly spiritual dubs will have a reference Bible, custom bound with lots of ribbons. If you're REALLY Ricky Righteous, you'll pack that monster around door-to-door. You know. Two-edged sword keeping the world safe from Tricky Trinitarians and all that.
Good one Brinjen.
As for Nvr's premise, I couldn't agree more. This is just another example of "no matter what happens, we've got the TRUTH" thinking. Persecution, Local screw ups, F&D slave screw ups, etc. The list is long and depressing.

Too cool, Blue!

Just last night I said the following on the Centennial thread(Three Rivers Stadium):
What I remember is a comment about one of the oldheads saying to one of the other oldheads..."looks like the great crowd isn't gonna be so great after all". HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH! Now look! Blah blah blah blah...
Franz mentioned that in his concluding talk. I just couldn't remember who said it to whom.
Thanks!

Nvr.. I read about that statement about the great crowd in Ray Franz's books. COC. and In Search of Christian Freedom.
Knorr also said that he wasn't sure about 1914 either.

Mariusuk.
"I saw a great crowd no man was able to number"
Clearly the WTBTS somehow equates their 6 odd million membership as a crowd that no man could number. (and yet they still try and put a number on it anyway along with stats on publishers, pioneers, average hours, new recruits, new baptisms)

I always wondered about that as well, Mariusuk.
Good point.
