The lady I studied the bible with when she came to my house thought that Adam was a bad guy for eating the forbidden fruit. I thought the way she said it was hilarious.

How about this: At the a$$emblies, they keep harping that they are a foretaste of the "new" order. And then when I go and wish not to be there on the basis of that "foretaste", they tell me that I can't really go by that. So much for the foretaste--I wonder if I can get away with this kind of specious arguments and tell them that my posts are not really apostate.

Most people in my hall thought that it would be a good idea for God to kill 6 billion men, women, and children just so they could have their own mortgage-free homes, pet lions, and hike on mountain trails while wearing flowery dresses.

Well, let's see. The conventional wisdom in my congregation is that young people should avoid "higher education" and make sure that they enter the "pioneer ranks" above all else.

But nothing "sick and twisted" that I can think of.

In open mind's congo they also think he is an elder "in good standing". Now, that's sick and twisted!
