Biblicaly, Satan lost.
Job stayed faithful to god despite losing everything.
Despite his ''friends'' telling him he was being punished by god for being a sinner, when he was perfect in obedience to god.
Everytime Satan wins followers, God kills them off, so how can Satan win? lol
eclipse, i know biblically, satan lost. but, consider the source.

It seems that Jehovah and Satan are a team in a sense. Without Satan the great challenger, how would Jehovah show what a macho demon whooper he is? If all of the spirit and fleshly beings in the universe just went along with the program, how would we know whether Jehovah was great, mighty, almighty, or whatever. Even a wimp god could lead the easily led.

Sorry Bigdreaux, I didn't mean to preach at you as if you did not know the story..sorry about that. I was just thinking outloud.
I still think if god is really god he still would of killed off anyone who chose satan's side.
Freewill is only beneficial if you choose the correct ''will''.
Join the Nazi's or die, freewill gives you the choice to do so.
Mum is correct, without Satan, god would just be worshipped or ignored by default, no matter if it was weak or powerful.
It would have no rival.
