I can totally relate to you. I was a witness for 25 years, at most every meeting, saturday morning field service with my two boys, everything we are supposed to do to be a good witness. i won't go into great detail since my story is on my bio but, i have been inactive for about 8 years now. i just recently found this web site and i am so glad i did. even though you might not be active or disfellowshipped, it is so very hard to move on. the guilt still gets to me but at least now i have found i call talk to others that totally understand what i am going through. im not sure but i believe it will take a long time to move on and i just don't know if i can ever actually become a member of any other religion. i do know though that i never want to go back. i wont.
i have read many experiences on other web sites too of former witnesses who now believe you need to be "born again." i just can't buy into that. what do you think?
