It'll be hard for the R&F to ignore the upcoming Sept OKM article about the unsanctioned small group study. However, they'll instead just misinterpret it as being a "protection" of the loving GB against bad thoughts. Isn't that called cognizant dissodence (can't spell that right now)?

And I look forward to next week's article about sinning against holy spirit. I think if that is possible, then the true sin against the holy spirit was buying in to the WT's version of the truth and denouncing all others...even going against my gut feeling...my true conscience...to do so. And in spite of feeling the doubts all those years, I still kept up the faith. It's like being hooked on a drug. You know it's bad, but you do it anyway.

Why "of course" when the WTS has already used an OT example where weapons were acceptable?

Because the OT is nullified by the NT, yet the OT is still applicable. Oh ..and there are 2nd and 3rd meanings and fulfillments of OT scripture.

My head is still spinning from how the WT picks and chooses OT examples and yet not all OT examples of "faithful" ones applies to today. No multiple wives, for example. Yet all scripture is inspired and beneficial...except for the parts that aren't.

Attendants used to be allowed to use physical force to PROTECT OTHERS from being assaulted by a maniac. Not anymore. Only if YOU are PERSONALLY being physically assaulted are you allowed to defend YOURSELF.

I'm sure anyone who's read JWD for a time can easily figure out why they don't give the attendants instructions to physically restrain "opposers" anymore.

The Society has always had the outright nerve to tell "us" to suffer and die due to their own policies, yet they stay locked behind brick walls safe in the US sitting on millions of dollars.

Plus the outright nerve to tell us not to listen to opposers that seek to stop our preaching (?) Keep on the treadmill of handing out tons of paper each week to the same group of homes, provide free labor to build KHs, all the while the same group of men living a comfortable lifestyle at bethel decide how to spend the millions of dollars piling up.

I am encouraged by this article because I am hoping it means they are starting to panic at Brooklyn. All their bad reports worldwide are starting to pile up around them - these are current reports of settled court cases to protect their million, their UN status, so forth.

Are the bricks starting to crumble at Society headquarters? I don't think any religion would print this WA article if things weren't starting to happen to threaten their security.

They may try to convince us that if we serve Jehovah with a little less zeal, we could pursue worldly goals at the same time. However, because God's Kingdom comes first in our lives, we refuse to compromise.

Something tells me this is a problem for them. They're seeing less effort being put out...more people going after careers, not pamphleteering...it's got to unnerve them.
