I think the person that said dinosaurs were in that picture must have meant the wooly mamoths. Both of those are prehistoric and extinct.
Although, the woman with her face pressed against her baby's, consoling it in thier last moments before death, is particularily heartwarming >.> .

Let me add to Talley's comments.
the dinosaurs were to keep the forest cover pruned until man could expand the 'garden', the dinosaurs were destroyed in The Flood, and their 'remains' are part of present day fossil fuel deposits.....
They don't say they were destroyed at the flood anymore, because that is laughable, so they just don't
say much about their disappearance sooooo long ago.The general teaching from the 60's (my mother told us this stuff as kids) was that Jehovah created an earth
overgrown with vegetation, in order to control the atmospheric balance. The dinosaurs were created to
rid the earth of the excess vegetation after the atmosphere reached balance. After that, they weren't
needed anymore, so Jehovah saw fit to remove them.As far as the timeline problems, whether they were gone 6000 years ago, or shortly after by the time of the
flood, JW's are just supposed to say, "Well, we don't know everything. Man is vastly wrong about so much
of the past, and we will have to just accept that Jehovah will reveal what we need to know." CULT LANGUAGE

I don't see any dinosaurs. ????
Open MindNeither do I, this was from the 1978 Edition (first edition 2,000,000 copies printed). The mamouth thing comes close, but maybe the other posters have a point, maybe there is different artwork in different editions.

Since they are never mentioned in the Bible, they are a problem, aren't they? My son was extremely fond of dinosaurs. The borg teaches that they were possibly lost in the flood. But why doesn't the Bible mention them?
They do have a dilemna on their hands don't they?
