I SAW DUBS YESTERDAY!!!

  For the first time here in Louisiana since being here for almost a year and a half. lol

  Sure I see KHs every once in a while but never Dubs out preaching. Of course I was in northern LA so that may be why I saw them. Their influence in South LA seems very minor... anyway.

  They were working businesses with a book I dont recognize. I held the door open for them and smiled... put on my best friendly face hoping they would talk to me... Dammit. I even prayed to their god to send me his loyal servants to talk to me. They smiled back and... nothing... dammit. I guess my nice friendly face looks too much like an evil mean apostate face.

  I desire sooo much to have dubs find me in service... I have my whole sermon planned out. I guess joehoba must be warning them off of me with angelic direction

  I've read somewhere else that you are from Lafayette (nice place BTW - not really down town but all around and maybe it have change now it was kind of empty when I went there in 1996)

  Is the "MOUTON" hotel still there? (next to the Greyhond bus stop) Are the original/former owners still alive? They were so nice (showing there olds cars and very old furnitures (some from France), it still happen that I do think about them ... Also the cajun food that we've eat in the restaurant right next to it was faboulous.

  Downtown Lafayette has been revitalized and is very very nice now.esp at night when all of the clubs open.

  I love the Franco/Cajun culture here.

  The last time I was in Lafayette was for a JW convention....I grew up in Louisiana and Love Cajun food. Hmmm Hmmmm GOOD!

  I see dubs almost every Saturday morning. I'm always out buying junk at garage sales, and I usually come across a couple of brothers carrying book bags.
