I don't think science could explain it all ...

I'm reading some stuff that connects prayer and quantum science. Fascinating! It talks about how prayer creates a vocabulary of its own in the silent language of feeling. Thoughts, feelings, and emotions are vibrations like everything else and when aligned in union with each other, these vibrations are projected into the refined substance of consciousness and each has an effect. Prayer is virtually a forgotten technology as of about 1500 years ago. It has sunk into a mere ritual of requests and thanksgiving and we have just about lost the ancient wisdom associated with the "SCIENCE" of real prayer.

Prayer is a fairly safe form of self medication.

Sure it can. You have been giving yourself positive affirmations and the energy which you attract because of your efforts and perhaps some shit luck has led you to beleive that some entity is aiding you. Give yourself a pat on the back. God doesn't do shit. Never has, never will. If this works for you my man,I won't stop you. Shit, if I thought it would work I might try it. My experience and analysis have taught me otherwise.

Nothing in my life has ever changed one iota through prayer, begging, being good, wishful thinking, never, never, never. Look around you. See all those who pray and are good and suffer and struggle. Good doesn't get rewarded or protected. Positive action and consistancy yeilds positive results. Anything that has happpened that is good is because I busted my balls to do so. And God was behind me the whole way. Ya right! When we start to think God is behind us then we get the feeling we are special. Bullshit! No one is blessed but by their own actions and interaction within the surrounding of the energy they confront everyday and how they deal with it. There is no fairness and we all get dealt a differnt hand that we must deal with. WE.........NOT GOD

I only believe praying to the God of the bible is the right way , but some people use it in other ways which I consider occultic which could also have results . I tried to explain my experiences to people and all I get are ,you were on drugs , optical illusions , mental illness, or satan the devil . How come nothing good can be attributed to me?? unbelievable .

Prayer is the most important aspect of my life. Talking to the Creator, asking His guidance, thanking Him for this awesome life, brings me the greatest joy and peace. He is not the god of the Watchtower.

Here is an incredible book I am reading; "The G.O.D. Experiments: How Science Is Discovering God in Everything, Including Us"
    Schwartz, Gary, E. / pages

He is a proffesor at U of A. You can download it as an ebook for $7 at SimonSays.com This book documents proof of God, and one scientist's experience with communicating with him on a scientific level.

I have recently found myself in need of Jehovah's help, I have prayed to Him about my needs, and he has unequivically (sp?) answered my prayers. I kid you not. This is a very serious matter for me. Jehovah, as I continue to call him, definately hears my prayers. He answers without delay and I feel is eager to help those calling on him. I have had experiences in the past where the results of prayer cannot be explained any other way than the "Hand of God" was assisting me.

I believe, I do, and I will continue to pray to Jehovah God Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth. The only thing I ashamed of, is that I don't call on him enough, thinking that I don't need his help (or maybe it's that I don't want to bother Him with my insignificant, miniscule problems) and that I can fix things on my own.

Case in point. If you believe it, it can happen.
