I just saw those for the first time recently - on a huge pickup truck. Took me a minutes to get it as the color is definitely not "flesh toned" not any shade of flesh.

While Bush's house is commendable 99% of everything else he does is idiotic.

Yes... well they are both dumbasses in my not so humble opinion. The hypocrisy is what gets me.

There are alot of people that have super efficient houses that do it to save money and not for any enviromental reasons. I have some close friends that built a solar/wind turbine compatible house because the power lines did not reach their piece of property. They did not do it to save money and they most certainly are not environmentalists. They wanted a house with a spectacular view of Mt Rainier that was not close to anyone else.
Most conservatives are very interested in saving money but don't go around beating people over the head to get them to remodel thier houses.
Al Gore does have a huge power bill:

I have heard about Al Gore's house before and his reasoning is he pays carbon offsets for the extreme amount of energy he consumes. Kinda like salving the conscience of the rich. But I guess it is better than nothing.
I had not heard of Bush's house. If this is an accurate description, he is living more green than Gore. I am truly shocked. And I am not a lover of Bush. But you have to give him some credit, if he does it for the right reasons.
